Jacket seemed very nice unfortunately the heating elements did not work. So unable to say whether it heated up or not. Hot leathers, promptly sent a replacement, but again experienced the same problem. One positive is that Hot Leather’s representative, Shannon was amazing, returned calls immediately, very friendly and professional. Just on her level of service, I would buy from them again.

I have owned this jacket since January 2024. Tried it on when it arrived and it fit fine. Just today I took the battery and charger out of the package and charged the battery for the first time. Went to attach it to the jacket and the battery would not fit. Turns out, the battery that came with the jacket is in fact 12v. However, printed on the inside of the jacket, on the battery pocket, it specifically states this jacket is for use ONLY with 7.4v battery pack. The 12v battery that came with the jacket would not even fit in the battery pocket. We had a 7.4v battery from a jacket purchased earlier, and it is the battery needed for this jacket. Fortunately, we purchased a 12v jacket for my wife and the battery that came with my jacket will work as a second battery for her jacket. Long story short, I ended up having to purchase a 7.4v battery and charger for $70 so I could use this jacket. Can't really speak to the quality of the coat yet, but this is that first time I have ever had issues with an item from Hot Leathers. Pretty disappointed with this issue, but glad I could at least make it work out. Other reviews are positive for this jacket so maybe they have corrected this. But again, this jacket is not 12v, it is 7.4v.

We love the jackets. They do an amazing job of keeping us warm!

Fits great, warm and toasty. A few more pockets would be handy. Would love the option of an extra battery but didn't see one for sale.
