They are much larger than 9.5 the bots are at least a size 10 even tho they are marked as 9.5. I can barely wear them

Quality boot but watch sizing

I wanted very much to like these boots. They look great and have a terrific quality feel to them. Unfortunately I had to return them due to incorrect sizing. I wear and ordered a size 8 (smallest size offered), unfortunately their size 8 fit as though a full size up. I can’t say that all the sizes are consistently off a full size but the 8’s were off. I would have gladly exchanged for the next size down but this boot was not available in a smaller size. I rated 4 stars for quality but disappointed in size issue and having to be charged for return as opposed to a lesser exchange fee.

Xelement 1440 Men's Engineer Boots

I bought these to replace an older pair of the same manufacturer and model I've worn since around 2008. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and the old pair were that size. They were always a bit on the loose side, even with insole liners in them, so I purchased this pair a half size smaller and they fit very well. So, I would suggest buying a half size smaller than you normally wear. I believe there are other reviews out there that suggest the same thing.

The only thing that failed on the 13 year old boots is the soles have worn considerably and have separated. I glued the soles back together with RTV, and it seems to be working well for the last few months. The leather uppers are still in great shape. My local boot repair shop wanted $100 plus to resole the boots, so when I saw these on sale I decided to get the smaller size and all new material for less than the repairs. I'll wear the old boots until total failure and then have these new ones to move into.
