We’re searching for Men & Women Bikers to model Hot Leathers apparel at Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally! Winners will star in a photo shoot with a Professional Photographer on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 6pm. The winners will be featured in a variety of Hot Leathers media (catalog, online, etc.) and will also receive a $50 gift card.

Requirements:

• We’re looking for fun, energetic Men & Women Bikers that are comfortable in front of a camera.

• Must be attending Sturgis® Motorcycle Rally and be available at 6 PM, Wednesday, August 8, 2012.

• Must be 18 or older.

• Having your motorcycle at the rally is helpful, but not required.

Sturgis: The Wild Ride airs this Sunday, December 5th at 9pm EST on the Travel Channel. This documentary will feature a lot of footage from the 2010 Legendary Buffalo Chip® and around Sturgis. If you were there, there’s a good possibility the camera crew caught you. Relive the fun and watch the show. If you can’t set your DVR, the documentary will air again at midnight then on Thursday, December 9th at 9pm. Both airings will be followed by a special Sturgis Cops at 10pm EST.

“Domino” is another killer bike by our friend Bryan Schimke of TPJ Customs in Lodi, CA. Schimke’s bike is featured in Michael Lichter’s 10th Annual Motorcycles As Art Exhibition, “Eternal Combustion – 30 in the Wind” in Sturgis.  Schimke says the idea for Domino has been in his head for a couple years and this exhibit gave him the outlet to create it. Everything was fabricated by TPJ Customs except the wheels, which were done by Revolution Manufacturing. Kirk Taylor provided the paint job. If you’re at the Buffalo Chip®, make sure you see the exhibit.

Pee-wee Herman makes an appearance at the Hot Leathers store in the Buffalo Chip® Campground.  Pee-wee performed the “World’s Largest Tequila Dance” on stage last night along with the girls from the “Miss Buffalo Chip® Contest”.

Check out this great bike from our buddy Bryan Schimke of TPJ Customs of Lodi, CA. “Consuela” is part of the Freestyle Class at the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building Competition happening right now in Sturgis. Bryan and his team hand fabricated almost every piece of this bike. Kirk Taylor of Custom Design Studios did the custom paint job.
