Paul Yaffe of Paul Yaffe Originals rocked the ROT Rally in a Hot Leathers T-Shirt created for Michael Lichter’s 10th Annual Motorcycles as Art Exhibit: Eternal Combustion – 30 in the Wind, which includes a custom bike by Yaffe himself. The Motorcycles as Art show is a highlight for Sturgis Black Hills Rally attendees every year. 2010′s exhibit focuses on the passion for custom motorcycles seen over the past 30 years. STURGIS, SD – The streets in Sturgis were filled with snow after a Christmas blizzard, leaving the town buried in large snowdrifts several feet high. Almost 4 feet of snow has been dumped on the region already this season. This storm brought almost two feet of it alone! Wind gusts exceeding 50 mph made visibility near impossible and left many stranded without power. The town did an excellent job clearing pathways and everyone is still digging out from the storm. With more snow in the forecast, it looks like Sturgis will have a white New Year’s, too.

Last year we got the art department together to go invade Guido’s Bike Night. Guido’s Car Hop Drive Inn in Manchester, CT is a biker friendly restaurant with a bike night every Wednesday night in the summer. We came equipped with cameras and tons of free stuff. Everyone there got a free shirt, but there’s a catch, they have to let us get a picture of them wearing it.
